THE BOOK IS HERE!!! After months of pouring over the nearly 10,000 pictures I took in Sierra Leone, my labor of love is complete! Thank you all so much for your interest in the book...and for your patience. Many of you wrote me months ago with your intentions to purchase the book whenever it was finished. I believe it will be worth your wait! For those of you who are visiting this page for the first time, below you will find the motivation behind my first foray into publishing:
My life changed forever when I landed on African soil in the country of Sierra Leone this past April. I was traveling with a group of doctors, nurses and volunteers through Lighthouse Medical Missions to document the needs of the people there and the hope this group provided. We saw unbelievable poverty, heartbreaking sickness, and desperation. We also, however, saw inexplicable joy and sincere gratitude.
In my attempt to help raise funds to support further trips to Sierra Leone, building projects, and much-needed medical supplies, I have published a book of the images I captured while there.
